Good content + bad design = failure
Back in 2011, you could use blog commenting to get 200 backlinks and quickly skyrocket your rankings on search engines. But, in today’s algorithm for search engines, the focus is on quality over quantity. Lets go a little deeper as to the relevance of authority. As everybody knows, Search Engines are the moderators of the Internet. The search engine spider crawls the Internet finding billions of new pages, indexes them and then matches each web page to the relevant search query Think of outreach as a brand awareness campaign for your most authoritative audience. Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of generating more organic (i.e. free, natural) traffic from sites like Google, Bing and Yahoo. People like to be engaged and feel involved. Having a question as a title will start a conversation by piquing people’s interests. They will want to know what the answer is. Doing research on your targeted audience will help you come up with questions to ask. (Ideally, they should be questions members of your audience would naturally ask.)
Creativity can take courage
If you are a local business, register with trusted local directories. By submitting your company to business directories (especially the free directories) you cannot expect to be flooded with high quality traffic and transform your website into a high-converting lead generation machine. What you should be expecting though, is getting some extra local traffic boost and an improvement in your search engine placements. With Google"s mobile-first index, mobile web pages are more important than ever. People view web pages on smartphones and it is important that your link can be seen on these devices. In the modern search landscape, a multitude of disciplines feed into organic success. Everything from Social and UX, to PR and Content plays a part in a fully realized organic search strategy. We’ve all been frustrated by sites that load slowly, or won’t load at all, on slower data connections. Sites that load quickly help build positive digital engagement with your business, and there’s some evidence to suggest that both load time and engagement with your content improve your rankings. Links back to your site from elsewhere online are an important way to improve your search ranking;
Is your content marketing strategy consistent with your traffic and conversion goal?
An important aspect of SEO is making your website easy for both users and search engine robots to understand. Personalization is one of the most talked about frontiers in search. Don’t just stuff your keywords in willy-nilly and then tack on your city and state (or region or county) at the end. Remember that in addition to conveying to Google the terms for which you want your business to be relevant, these are the phrases that your prospective customers will see when they’re searching. So, how does Google determine site quality? Never participate on any kind of link exchange with other sites which may lead to a ban from search engines Give the search engines some time to do their thing (a couple days, or even weeks) and then keep checking your rank to see what happened and track your progress.
If you don’t know, ask someone or search online
Gaz Hall, a Freelance SEO Consultant from SEO Hull, commented: "Creating content on a consistent basis not only builds links internally (by linking out from your posts), but also gives you the ability to naturally attract links to your content. A blog is essential to many strategies I list below, such as linking out." Do your maths - its one of the primary resources for this sort of thing. Its as simple as KS2 Maths. Really! Another “old school” method of building up your backlinks is to make use of Forum Posting. It is a quick, easy and sometimes even fun way to get your links out and maybe even have someone directly click on them which is always a good thing. Domain authority is a score (on a 100-point scale) developed by Moz that predicts how well a website will rank on search engines. Google and other search engines also use the text of the URL of the page to determine the content of the web page. You should use your keyword or phrase in the URL of the web page - either the folder/directory structure or the HTML file/page name itself. Most content creators go for the big, obvious one and two keyword phrases and ignore longer search phrases. Thankfully, less competition means fewer pages in the results, making it easier for you to rank highly.
Good content + bad design = failure
The Google Webmaster Tool is a handy set of utilities that allows you to see your website or blog from Google’s perspective. If you use this tool, you can learn your average position on search engine results pages, which keywords your blog is ranked for, how many people are clicking on your blog from search engine results pages, and changes to these metrics that have occurred over time. By now, you should be convinced that you want to be on the top of the SERPs. It never hurts to be #1 in the natural search results If you"re not adding value,then the customer simply won"t ascend and you won"t grow your business (fast or slow). That"s what it takes. Every week, you should study an analysis of all the traffic from organic search queries to your website. This enables you to determine whether changes from previous weeks or months are having an effect. I’m sure you don’t want to spend time creating content no one wants to read.
Create separate pages for your different locations
Spam links often go both ways. A website that links to spam is likely spam itself, and in turn often has many spam sites linking back to it. Buying backlinks can and does work, however, there’s a substantial risk involved if you buy low quality ones and/or from people who openly sell them. If their website gets penalised, you’re in trouble too. Since the advent of Pandaand Hummingbird, LSI is becoming increasingly important in SEO as it’s used by Google to determine between ‘keyword stuffed’ articles and genuinely relevant content. Placing ads in front of potential customers has traditionally been one of the easiest ways to introduce your product to the world, but things have changed a lot over the years. While traditional advertisements still have their place, companies no longer have to rely on a chance encounter to get their products in front of their customers. Even after all of the changes with the search engine algorithms, inbound SEO links are still the biggest influence for search engines.
