People continually say that SEO is dead and that trying to rank in Google is futile. Then you get a sales pitch that points you to a social media product or some other type of paid traffic gimmick. Citations are references to you company name, address, phone number or website that may not actually link to you but are recognizable to Search Engines. Search engineoptimization or search engine optimization is the process of improving the visibility of a website in the organic results of the different search engines. It is also common to name it by its English title, SEO (Search Engine Optimization). This is one of the easiest and more effective methods in use today.
